Abstract
"Rifting caused deposition of a sequence in the Lake Albert rift spanning the periods Miocene to lower Pleistocene in the now provisionally accepted stratigraphical column. It shows no major breaks of sedimentation. As the initial age of the P-II cycle is thought to be considerably pre-Miocene, that cycle may span part of Mesozoic time as well as the early Tertiary."
